Getting past paralyzing fear
Have you ever been afraid to fail? Have you ever been afraid to succeed? I feel like most of have gone through that unfortunately. I’ve met a few people in my life who appear to have been born with an innate confidence oozing from their pores but those are few and far between.
I do want to pose this question to you though. What would you do if you were afraid to fail and succeed at the same time? Crazy I know!
However, it happens. It’s happened to me. I honestly thought I was such a weirdo because I felt the fear of both so intensely that I just would not budge on anything. I would just take notes and daydream…and sometimes like “I wonder what it’s like to have xyz”.
I’m here to tell you now that fear is not of God at all. It does not prompt you to move forward…shoot it doesn’t prompt you to move at all! How can you walk out your purpose in life, let alone find out what that purpose is if you don’t move.
I’m the type of person that loves God but my mouth can be a little spicy at times. I also love to mash up different genres and scenarios so check this out.
On my wall of affirmations I literally have it written: Ludacris said “When I move you move just like, God is waiting on you to move so he can move”.
Do what you will with that but it’s been on that wall for years.
Luda also said ‘STAND UP!”
God has so much in store for our lives and has given us gifts and creativity to grow and live not only comfortably but walk in our purposes and help others. However, faith without works is DEAD therefore…all that he has in store for you (think about literally in storage waiting on you) is waiting for you to MOVE so he can move but first you have to get past this paralyzing fear and STAND UP!!
MAAAANNNNN I just blew my own mind! Lol.
The video below is me talking about this very thing in the midst of the conversation I was having with my friend via text. They know about it so no worries.
It’s time to move…there is no time like the present but when you STAND UP and MOVE it will require you to shed some weight and move differently from before…You cannot and I repeat absolutely cannot take that paralyzing fear with you into your next stage in life.
